Born September 14, 1930, in Galion, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles E. and Leona P. Meehan. Wanda graduated from Galion High School and later married Robert ‘Bob’ Price, her husband of 58 years. Wanda worked as a Clerk at the Marion County Court House while raising three children.
Wanda was known for her knitting skills and her homemade fudge. She spent time knitting prayer shawls for various churches. Earlier in life, Wanda enjoyed traveling the country with her family in their RV. Special family memories were created in Myrtle Beach and Zephyrhills, Florida.
Wanda is survived by her daughters, Terri Price of Mansfield and Vicki (Greg) Beal of Mansfield; her grandsons, Dave (Jackie) Price and Brian (Marilyn) Beal; her granddaughter, Kristy Beal (Mark Pickering); her great-granddaughters, Abbey Price, Cassie (Mike) Borchers, and Gracen Tarant; her great great-grandson, Owen Hernandez; her great great-granddaughters, Sophia and Oaklynn Borchers; her nieces, Missi Hollis and Kim (Joe) Tucker and various other nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Jamie Adkins, who was a wonderful friend and caregiver to Wanda.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ‘Bob’ Price; her son, Robert ‘Mike’ Price; her sister, Beverly (Nat) Tridico; and her brother James ‘Jimmy’ Meehan.
A private funeral will be held with the burial to follow. Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario is honored to serve the Price family.
