Wendy married the love of her life, Allen Wells, in a little chapel in Tennessee, they shared 31 happy years together. Wendy was a 1982 graduate of Madison High School, Medical Coding and Billing School. She previously worked at Peoples Hospital, MTD of Shelby, Kidney Associates, and Sarnova Health Care where she was still employed.
She loved spending time with her family, going to garage sales, thrift stores and finding treasures with others. She loved to watch her grandkids, nieces and nephews open their presents on Christmas Eve; she would be right down on the floor with them. She loved animals of all kinds.
Wendy loved to decorate for the holidays, with her many trees and all of her gingerbread. You could see the love she put into everything. If you needed something, Wendy was always there for a shoulder to cry on. She loved going to car shows, Prairie Peddler and just spending time with her husband Allen. She enjoyed working around their home.
Her girls shopping trips at Christmas were a favorite, with her sister Cathy, Sarah and Robyn. She loved her yearly shopping trips to Candle Factory with her sisters Barb and Cathy and then lunch for their birthdays. When you were around Wendy, you could count on a good laugh or just being there because you need someone! She will be missed beyond measure.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Wells; sisters, Barb Zediker, Cathy (Jerry) Littleton; brother, Mike (Emma) Clinage; stepchildren, Shawn Wells of Mansfield and Stephanie (Sherman) Johnson of Illinois; grandchildren, Abby Wells, Dylan and McKenzie Johnson; nephews, Jason (Sarah) Littleton, Justin (Jessika) Clinage; niece, Courtney (Garrett) Karg; great nephews and nieces, Savannah Gray, Branson Littleton, Kaelynn and Kamryn Karg, Lucas and Jayce Clinage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her in-laws, John and Alma Wells; grandparents, Floyd and Martha Mehl and Raymond and Helen Clinage; brother-in-law, Bill Zediker; sister-in-law, Susan Clinage; and her dogs, Mya and Izzy.
