Alfonso Salas

Alfonso was a retired print supervisor for Howard Marlboro Group. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where he was a Minister of Hospitality. Alfonso was also a member of the Senior Golden Age Games and received a countless amount of medals and faithfully workout out at the YMCA of Deltona. He taught himself how to play the guitar and was fond of Musica Jibara. Alfonso enjoyed tending to his plants and vegetables and was most passionate about his wife, Ana, his children and family. They were always in his nightly prayers.

He was survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Ana Salas; son, Alfonso, Jr.; daughters, Norma, Gloria, Nancy and Agnes Salas; brother, Pablo and Osvaldo Salas; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Alfonso will be held Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. A wake service will occur at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will occur Monday, January 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona, FL 32725. A committal service will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
