Born on May 16, 1931, in Corozal, Puerto Rico, Andrea lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and devotion to her family. She completed her primary education before embarking on a career that reflected her strong work ethic and caring nature. She worked in a factory that manufactured military gloves before later pursuing a career in retail sales, where she was known for her dedication and friendly spirit.
On May 4, 1957, Andrea married the love of her life, Hipólito Pérez Báez. Together they built a family centered on love, faith, and unwavering support for one another.
Andrea found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her family. Her home was a place where love was shared through delicious meals, warm conversations, and cherished memories. She will be remembered for her generous heart, gentle spirit, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.
Andrea is lovingly survived by her children, Eddie W. Pérez, Gloria I. Pérez, Daniel Pérez, and Brenda Pérez; her grandchildren, Zussette Pérez, Karlos Pérez, Darianiss Ocasio, Juan Hernández, Frank Christian Avilés, and Daniel W. Avilés; her siblings, Virginia Vázquez, Carmen E. Vázquez, Elisa Vázquez, and Rafael Vázquez; along with many extended family members, relatives, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hipólito Pérez Báez, in 2007, and by her beloved grandson, Michael Avilés.
Andrea’s legacy is one of perseverance, compassion, and unconditional love. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories. Although she will be deeply missed, the love she shared and the values she instilled will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
