Angel Jimenez passed away June 29, 2012 at the age of 73 in Orange City, Florida. Mr. Jimenez worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for St. Luke Catholic Church in Brentwood, New York before moving to Florida. Some of his favorite hobbies and pastimes were playing dominoes and cards, watching CNN, the 3 Stooges, as well as Tom and Jerry and old movies.
He is survived by his wife, Edna of eighteen years, a son, Miquel; three daughters, Lourdes, Sylvia and Carmen; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; also survived by his loving dog, Bentley.
Angel was also a loving foster dad to a total of 20 children. He was a Warehouseman and member of the local #707 Teamsters Union of Long Island, NY. His days in retirement were spent enjoying a friendly game of dominoes with his friends at Senders Retreat in DeLand, Florida.
Friends will be received at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City, Florida on Monday, July 2nd from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm with a service at 7 pm.
