She was married to Steven Chomyn on June 28, 1980.
Anna Olena had a career in hairdressing and home interior décor with Olena’s Coiffures and West Hartford Beauty Salon and Home Interior Design. Besides her careers she also had a passion for event planning.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church in Apopka, FL. She was also a prior member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church in Buffalo, NY and St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church in New Britain, CT.
Anna Olena is survived by her beloved husband, Steven; sister, Maria (Zenon) Bodnarskyj; brother, Bohdan Chomyn; niece, Olena Bodnarskyj; nephew, Roman (Rachel) Bodnarskyj and their children, Nina and Ella; and many family members in Ukraine.
A memorial service for Anna Olena will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church (245 Lake McCoy Drive, Apopka, FL 32712).
