

Anthony G. Pessolano, 92 died in his Deltona Florida home June 19th. He was born in New York City and moved to Staten Island in 1950 , then moved to Deltona Fl. in 1980. He went to Saint Sylvester's grammer school and then Curtis High School. He is survived by his loving wife Olga Pessolano who he was married to for 68 years. He is also survived by daughter Nancy Trani and her husband Pasquale of Deltona, Anthony Pessolano and his wife Tammy of New Jersey and their grandchildren Sara, Anthony, Timothy and Meagan. Also a brother Robert Pessolano of New Jersey another son Joseph Pessolano died in 1995. He was so proud to have served in the Marines in World War 2. He worked as a letter carrier for the New York City Post office for about 10 years . Then he became a correction officer and served as treasurer for the Correction Officer's Benevolent Association where he retired from. He enjoyed collection coins and stamps and bowled on a team called the vigilanties in his 80's. He was a member of the Sons of Italy for many years. He enjoyed learning the computer at 80 years old. He really enjoyed telling jokes and had a great sense of humor. For the last 30 years he researched our family geneology and was very successful at it.
