Arrowwillow Frances Davis of Deltona, Florida passed away on November 12, 2021 in Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, NY. She was born on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NY on August 3, 1922. She was lovingly known as Frances by all.
Frances graduated from a vocational school and received her diploma.
Frances married her first love William with whom she had a son William, Jr. lovingly known as Billy.
Some years later, she met and married Ellsworth Davis on August 7, 1960. Together they loved and raised Richard Davis.
Frances worked as a payroll bookkeeper for the New York City Police Department. She had a passion for playing the piano, painting, pottery, knitting, and crocheting.
Frances is survived by her son Richard; grandchildren, Kaelyn and Brandon; sister, Rosemarie and her nieces and nephews Arthur, Gerard, Anthony, Tonia, Shawn, Kimberly, Gloria, and Venus.
Frances is preceded in death by her husbands William and Ellsworth; her first child Billy; her siblings, William, Edward, Paul, James, John and sister Mary.
She also left to mourn a host of cousins including her favorite cousin Walnette Dixon lovingly known as Sissy whom she was living with in New York when she passed away.
Frances will be dearly missed by all the people she loved.
A visitation for Frances will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763, followed by a celebration of life service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
