Dear cousin Aure was such a creative and artistic soul. I will miss seeing her beautiful crafts and artwork. We are poorer for her passing, but heaven is richer and more beautiful with her joining the angels.

My dear daughter Aurelia Rose, I miss you so very much. You are with me in my heart forever and ever until we meet again in Heaven.

Aurelia also known as Aure was a loving and compassionate person growing up in Miami and later moving to Orange City, FL. Where she lived with her husband of 25 years, Allen Henderson.

Aurelia was a hard-working woman who recently retired from Publix after 30 years. She had a passion for the Ocean. She would drive to the beach at first light to watch the sunrise and listen to waves. Aurelia would often be seen carrying shells and driftwood for making her arts and crafts.
She enjoyed going to the art show, seafood festivals and listening to country music with her husband, family and friends.

She is survived by her parents, John and Roseann D’Amanda; her son Allen Tools; her daughter Shannon Crosby; her siblings John D’Amanda Jr., Kevin D’Amanda, Steven D’Amanda, and Teressa Kohn; five grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

When you think of Aurelia, celebrate the good memories you have had with her. She would say “Tomorrow is not promised, be kind”.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Aurelia’s final resting place will be Deltona Memorial Gardens in Orange City, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made to the New Smyrna Beach Marine Turtle Conservancy, Inc. at nsbturtles.org
