Benjamin Rivas age 68, passed away on Jan 15, 2014 at Florida Hospital Memorial in Daytona Beach. Benjamin moved to Deltona in 2012 from his Home in Allentown PA, he was a retired Pipe Layer in the construction industry, member of St Clare Catholic Church, as well as many years with the Sacred Heart Church in Allentown. He loved to play his guitar, enjoyed fishing, loved to plant and tend to his vegetable garden, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Hilda Rivas, his sons; Benjamin (Heather) Rivas Jr, Robert (Paola) Rivas, daughter; Hilda Ivette, 4 grandchildren Haley, Cain, Federico and Teresa, 2 brothers; Marcelino and Jose (Moncho), and 4 sisters; Aurora, Juana, Nora, Tona, and Ursula Rivas.
