Brenda "Nana" Hummert

Brenda was born on April 16, 1963 to the late Rema Brown and Morris Brown. She lived a short time in Ohio until her family moved to Florida where she grew up. Brenda enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Anything her kids wanted to do, she wanted to come along to make memories. She loved listening to her oldies music and dancing with her grandchildren--they loved every minute of it. She always had a way of making everyone feel happy and loved. She enjoyed cooking and baking cakes. She made sure she had her little helpers with her in the kitchen. And, she made sure to cook enough so everyone could have leftovers …for a week!

She was preceded in death by her mom, dad, and granddaughter, Sara Casares.

Brenda is survived by her four children, Nicole, Kimberly (Tyrees), Krystal (Jason Sr.), and Roy Jr. (Kathryn); her sister, Sandy; and brothers, Mikey, Rusty, Stevie and Peanut (Morris, Jr.); eleven grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
