Mr. Vasquez was born on April 22, 1950 in New York, New York, the son of Braulio Vasquez and Maria Louisa Miranda. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force after 23 years of service and worked for the Department of Corrections in Florida for 15 years. He was a Chaplain for the World Emergency Disaster Chaplains. He was an Oklahoma Sooners fan, He loved sports, the NY Yankees and the NY Giants and the Oklahoma City Thunder. He loved music and loved to be Santa Claus for community events.
He is survived by his wife, Cecilia; two sons, Manuel (Amber) Vasquez and Paul Vasquez; and a daughter, Anne (Joe) Anderson; four grandchildren, TJ, Alex, Lisa Marie and Justin; and one great-granddaughter, Brooklynn; and a sister, Carmen Vasquez.
