Miss you my friend,  I am grateful for all we have shared over the years.  We had such great memories the time we were groupies chasing after the Vampire Diaries hotties at the convention in Orlando. I am so glad we shared that time together. I remember how excited you were in the hotel with the cast, laying on the bed kicking your feet up in the air like you were 15 again.  
I love and miss your  spunk... always up for some crazy colors just not THAT RED! lol
I am glad your fight is over, you were such a trooper through it all.  Now you have no pain and you are finally with Carl.  I will always think of you and I know your family will do you proud.  Don't worry up there, they will all be fine... they have you as a guardian angel now.   Love you my friend.

Jay & Laurie, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have great memories of us growing up together with plenty of laughs with Mom and Dad. Here’s a pic, many years later, of her making my kids laugh. She lived a full life and had a wonderful family. Hopefully the pain of her leaving you all is comforted by the fact she’s reunited with Karl. Please know the whole family is in my thoughts!

After 50 years of memories from meeting in Holland in 1971, coping with Duke, raising our children, the endless vacations especially every year to the Amish country not to mention up and down the coast.  We had loads of laughs.  Now it’s time to say good bye (for now).  Your suffering in over and you are home with Karl.  
Now the both of you can ride all over on your motorcycle with the wind in your faces!  May you both Rest In Peace!

You were my best friend, the person I shared my happy thoughts with, my fears, my ideas and anytime I needed advice you were there. You were there for all of us. You never gave a second thought to helping any of us whenever we needed. You always put our family first and made sure we were all always ok. I assure you that I am trying to stay strong for our family like I always promised. You and Dad were the center and heart of our family. You asked me to keep our family strong and be that center when you no longer could. I remember when I was a liitle girl how my cousin Carol would look after me and her brother Ray.  Also I remember the time I went to visit family in New York and visited with my cousins Carol and Karl and met their dog Duke.  So many good memories of my cousin.  Hard to believe she's no longer here.  But I truly believe in a better place and true love.  I know she's back in the arms of her true love Karl.  May she rest in peace.  Love you Cousin.  Rest easy.

Mom, there are no words that could ever explain the emptiness I feel right now losing you.  You said I was your rock but really you were my rock.  I knew I could call you anytime for whatever I might have needed help with and you never once had a second thought about helping me.   You've only been gone for 2 days and I think I picked up the phone no less than 4 times to call you to ask you something or to just check on you, then, it hits me all over again that you won't be there to answer the phone.   It hurts me so much that I wasn't there for you those final days knowing how much you missed me being away.  You spent every day with me in the hospital while I was in a comma for 9 weeks holding my hand thinking you were going to lose me.  I'm so sorry I wasn't there with you when you left this life but I know you understood why I was gone and were proud of me for going back to what I loved.   I will miss your smile mom and how seeing you smile would brighten anyways day and our countless laughs we had at the casinos and going on our cruises as I know you loved them so much.  You were the most caring and loving mother a son could have and words cannot express the pain of losing you.  I love you so much mom and I will miss you until we meet again in the next life..
