Cecil Leonard Eagleton

Cecil Leonard Eagleton, 82, passed away March 5, 2017 at his home in Deltona, Florida surrounded by his family. He was born June 10, 1934 in Charlton Township, Michigan to Cecil Eagleton and Elsie Moore.

Cecil proudly served in the U. S. Navy for 20 years, working in the Aviation Electronics Mechanics Career Field. He retired in 1973 as a Chief Petty Officer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Gerald Eagleton. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Gloria Katherine Eagleton; his children Jean Marie Eagleton Mitchell (M.D. Mitchell), Katherine Pozesny (Michael Pozesny), Vicki McCullough and Robert C. Eagleton (Helen Eagleton); nine grandchildren: Ashley, Tanya, Chelsea, Brandon, Shelby, Forrest, Rose Marie, Grady and Jacob; eleven great grandchildren: George, Gavin, Mariella, Lincoln, Riley Ann (deceased), Grayson, Cecilie, Miley, Landon, Wyatt and Benjamin; and his sister Jeannine Eagleton.

Visitation will be Friday, March 10, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church, 2961 Day Road, Deltona, Florida 32738. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated following visitation at 11:00 AM. Interment with full military honors will be at 12:00 PM in Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
