Charlene took great joy providing support to the mentally challenged until her retirement. Her favorite pastime was spending time with family and friends just enjoying their company. She was extremely proud of her son, Michael, who after graduating with a Master’s degree found work as a football coach in Massachusetts following his dream. While she had favorites, she was fond of declaring that any beach was her happy place.
Charlene and her family would like to thank the many staff personnel of Central Florida Regional Hospital, Fresenius Kidney Care of both Altamonte Springs and Sanford, and Davita Dialysis of Orange City who took phenomenal care of her during her sickness.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested in Charlene’s honor to the American Diabetes Association.
