She was born on February 3, 1934 to Lincoln P. and Lottie M. Cole in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. Charlotte was a member of the Deltona Christian Church and lived in Deltona for more than 50 years. She was a clothing store manager before her retirement. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother who was loved by all who knew her and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Daniel C. Simmons.
Mrs. Simmons is survived by her children, Robert O. Doyer, III (Donna), Sandra Coelho, Lottie Bethea (Joseph), and Pauline Wright (Mark); 9 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL 32763. The funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, February 16, 2024 at the funeral home with Elder Raemil Billlings officiating. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens.
