Chester M. Markiewicz

He was born in Braddock, PA on September 30, 1938.

Chester graduated from Braddock High School.

He married the love of his life, Patricia L. Burkhart, on April 23, 1960. They just celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary.

Chester was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

Chester had a career in drafting, working for Westinghouse Electric for 42 years.

Chester's hobbies included fishing, golfing, and bowling. He and Pat loved vacationing and sailing on cruise ships. In addition, Chester did volunteer work with Junior Achievement, and served for 10 years as a volunteer EMT with Rescue 8 in Irwin-North Huntington Township, PA.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Deborah Markiewicz of Westmoreland City, PA, Michael Markiewicz (Maryann) of Orlando, FL, and Kenneth Markiewicz of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer McEntee (Chris), Laura Markiewicz , Michael Markiewicz, and Brooke Markiewicz; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Haddie McEntee; siblings, Daniel Markiewicz (Beth) of Mt. Pleasant, PA and William (Marlane) Markiewicz of Larimer, PA.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Debary, FL.
