

Clayton Alphonse Kaster, 94, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Summerhaven Assisted Living in DeBary, Florida. Clayton was born on October 8, 1927 in Green Bay, WI. He is the son of the late Margaret (Hettig) Kaster and Alphonse Kaster. After his graduation from East High School in Green Bay, he immediately enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Later in his distinguished military career, he transferred to the U.S. Air Force from which he retired. Clayton served during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. In September 2012, Clayton was honored with a trip to Washington, D.C. with other veterans as part of the Honor Flight Network.
Preceding him in death were his two wives, Charlotte and Clara, and two children, Charlene and Clay Jr.
He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Cleo Peksa, sister Margaret Kaster, and brothers Cletus Kaster and Chaney Arves.
Clayton is survived by his two sons and their wives: John and Jean Kaster (Debary, FL) and Richard and Louann Kaster (Pelham, AL). He is also survived by his sister JoAnne Krieger and her partner, Robert Woodford (St. Paul, MN), brother Dean Kaster and his wife Julie (North Charleston, SC) and a sister-in-law Joan Arves (Green Bay, WI). He is further survived by Gary and Valery Brussat (West Bend, WI), Cleo's daughter and devoted niece, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Inurnment will be at the Deltona Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Orange City, Florida.
