Dan B. Merlin, age 75, passed away on February 8, 2010. Dan was the owner of Millie's Gold Mine in Orange City, where he worked in his business with his loving wife, Millie. Dan was a 32nd degree Mason, loved motorcycles, reading and traveling. Prior to moving to Florida, Dan lived in Las Vegas for over 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Millie Merlin for over 40 years, special family members that Dan considered brother and sister to him : Theresa (John) Morin and their children, that he also considered grandchildren : Jonathan (Ursula) Morin of Deltona, Barbara (Chris) Freant of Deltona and Giovanni (Amanda) Beltran of Ft Lauderdale, and great grandchildren, Laura, Eric, Jonathan, Nicholas, Giovanni, Anthony, Christopher and Cheyenne.
A Celebration of Life Service was held on Tuesday, February 16th at 7:00pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City Florida.PH: 386-775-4260.
