Edgar Ortiz passed away on 11/28/2017.  He was surrounded by his loving family and very close friends.  He is survived by his devoted wife, Noemi Moyet, his children Charlie, Edgar Jr., Annette, and Laura, his nephews, nieces, and grandchildren.   He is also survived by his uncle and aunt Goro and Carmin Melecio, his brothers Felix and Ricardo, his sisters Aida and Lillian.    Edgar was born in Puerto Rico and at an early age he moved to New York with his single mother Ruperta Melecio, his brother and sister, Felix and Aida.  He was a GM retiree.  He enjoyed watching the New York Yankees.  He gave his life to the Lord in 1997.  He was an usher at church, and he made a positive impact on everyone who knew him.   He enjoyed helping his family, friends, and neighbors in any way he could.  With a smile, he would always say "there's more to come".  Edgar, we miss you, and you will always be in our hearts!
