After obtaining her degrees, she worked her way up to being an Assistant Vice President of Citibank for many years. From a young age she loved horses and had one named Sam. Besides horses, she also loved other animals and had two dogs, Daisy and Blanche, and had two cats named Pretty and Moon Angel, all of whom she adored. Edna was a devout Catholic and her favorite book was The Bible. Edna was known as being a caregiver and extremely generous. Because of her generous nature, she supported her niece Cherilyn M.
