

Ernest Joseph Senez , 61, of DeBary, Florida died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Saturday, February 26 at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd. Orange City with Fr. Joe Roberts and Deacon Jim Lathan officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. till service time. Ernest was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and moved to West Volusia in 1972 from West Springfield, Mass. He was the owner of Ernest Senez Building and Roofing of Orange City. Ernest was an area youth soccer coach for 17 years and was the first Boys Varsity soccer coach at Pine Ridge High School. He was a member of our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church of Deltona; Florida Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America; Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp serving in Vietnam(1968-1969) and was awarded the Purple Heart. Ernest is survived by his wife of 39 years - Anne Forest Senez ; 2 Sons- Isaac E.(Ericka) Senez of Lake Helen; Shane R. Senez of Deltona. Parents- Edmond and Leona Senez of Orange City. 3 brothers- Col. Ronald ( Nancy) Senez of Springfield, Mass.; Bernard ( Kathleen) Senez of Orange City; Edmond Senez of Orange City. Sister- Bonnie( Brian)LaPorte of Springfield, Mass.; 2 Grand-daughters- Shyanne and Ariana Senez of Lake Helen .
