Mrs. Collins was born on May 5, 1926 in Manhattan, New York, the daughter of Francis and Jane Shea Gay. She was united in marriage to the late John J. Collins. She had been a secretary in the public school system prior to her retirement.
She is survived by three sons, Walter Collins, Jr. of Sanford, FL, Robert Collins of San Francisco, CA and Michael Collins of Suffern, NY; three daughters, Maryanne Reesman of Palm Bay, FL, Cathy Langone of Bushkill, PA and Jane Plantamura of Hudson, FL; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
