George F Hafele

He was born in Far Rockaway, NY, on May 4, 1940 to the late George and Anna Winkler Hafele.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Kit F. (Nee Librizzi) Hafele, and three children, Vicki Spruck (Tim), George Hafele, Jr. (Kathy), Dawn Parker (Harvey); two grandchildren, Kaylie Fagan (Dakota) and Maddie Hafele; and his loving dog, Chance.

George is preceded in death by his parents; as well as his sister, Anita Provenzano.

George had a career in landscaping with his own companies, Flower Top Farms and George Hafele Landscaping. He was a member of three volunteer fire departments; Hewlett, Lynbrook and Copake, all of New York. He was dedicated to his family, loving and nurturing his children throughout their lives. In his spare time he enjoyed creating yard art and gardening.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Highbanks Marina & Resort Clubhouse; 488 W Highbanks Rd, DeBary, FL.
