Dear Papi,

I write to you not only as your daughter, but also as one of the many people who have missed you for this first year. You were the first man I ever loved. You held me, played with me, supported me, and gave me as many memories possible in 40 years of my life. You believed in me first, gave me my first nickname, and especially gave me your height. You gave me all I could have ever needed in those 40 years, because you gave me love. And by giving me love, you made me the person I am today. Some days are harder than others, but I don't want you to worry. Most of the hard days involve me thinking about what you have missed out on and will continue to. Then those thoughts leave because I know that you will continue to go through life with me, just in a more special way. Just looking in the mirror every day is a reminder that you will always be the best part of me.

When I think about all the good things God has given me, you always come to mind. Your wisdom has taught me to trust in the Lord and your courage has shown me how to walk in faith. You have encouraged me to reach for the stars. Thanks for all the times you lifted me up and helped me believe that anything was possible. I hope you know how blessed I feel to have had you in my life, today and always.

Nobody can understand the broken heart that comes from a little girl losing her father. While the initial wound goes away, the scars and bruises stay forever. Words can't describe how much I miss you. Just know that you'll always be in my heart and that every time I see 12:54 pm on a clock, I'll think of you.

The Holidays were not the same. You were truly missed. I miss seeing you sitting by the Christmas tree and enjoying all the food and music. Rest easy Daddy. I will forever love you.

Marlene  Rodriguez & Family  ,  I can not say i know how you feel,  I am truly sorry for your lost , i can not even imagine  the pain you are going through, its okay to mourn because we are not ment to die.
I  want to help you find some peace in your heart and a hope. 
God has promised us that there will be a Resurrection  for the righteous and the unrighteous found on Acts chapter  24 verse 15 ; And I have a hope towards God,  which hope these men also look forward to,  that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous,  what can this mean for you (that one day you will be reunited with your loving father once again.

Papi, I'm still in shock and disbelief that you are not with us. Yesterday, we made your final arrangements. We went out to eat as a family. I can assure you that I did not enjoy my dinner because all I can see was the amount of daughter's with their father's and I did not have mines anymore. You will forever be My First Love, My hero, My Mentor. The only thing that runs threw my mind were your words to me " The Love Between a Father and Daughter is Forever". I will forever be Daddy's Little Girl. I will miss you and Love you Forever.
