Deltona, FL, age 86, passed away on December 3, 2012 at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean; children, James (Nancy) Ruf and Catherine Golubski; grandchildren, Sarah Ruf, Kelly Ruf, Melissa (Alex) Martin and Jason White; 2 great-grandchildren; a sister, Louise DiDia; several nieces and nephews.
George moved from Port Reading, NJ to Florida in 1971. He retired from Walt Disney World and enjoyed building items for his grandchildren.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, December 7th from 2 - 4 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 11 AM. Burial will follow services in Deltona Memorial Gardens, Orange City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Pine Ridge Fellowship, Room at the Inn, Cold Weather Ministry, 935 Howland Blvd., Deltona, FL 32738.
