Mr. Ruiz was born on November 15, 1931 in New York City, New York, the son of Luis Ruiz and Carmen Feliciano. He was united in marriage to Francisca Melendez for 59 years. He was a supervisor for a public utility company for many years prior to his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Francisca; four sons, George O. (Norma) Ruiz, George L. Ruiz, Raymond (Natalia) Ruiz and Frank (Alice) Ruiz; two daughters, Eddalee Ruiz and Alba Pinental; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two brothers, Ralph (Cayin) Ruiz and Louis (Daisey) Ruiz; two sisters, Carmen (Daniel) Tsin and Iris Schmidt; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Saturday, February 9th from 4 - 7 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held at 7 pm with Father Kenny Aquino of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church officiating. Cremation will follow services.
