

George (Bus) Donovon Wade, 98, Deltona, Florida died Monday, December 7, 2015 at Parkside Nursing Home, Deland, Florida. George was born October 22, 1917 in Aaron, Iowa to Earl and Etha Nelson Wade. He was a graduate of Public School #40, Madison, Nebraska. George courted and won the heart of Shirley A. Sasse a local school teacher, they married March 23, 1941.
During his life, he had worked as a farmer, truck driver, mechanic and Manager for Power Rental Equipment, Inc in Denver, Co. where he retired October 1977. He and his wife Shirley moved to Mesa, AZ until they relocated to Deltona, Fl. 1994-2006. They moved to Claremore, Ok 2006-2009, and returned to Deltona 2009-present. George (Bus) has always enjoyed helping others with any fixit problem needed.
His motto which was attached above his work bench was “Let George Do It”.
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley of 71 years. He is Survived by his sister Lucille Varner of Colorado Springs, Co. son James W. Wade of Magnolia, TX, daughters Judith A. Spinney of Chandler, AZ, Jean L. Patterson of Deltona, FL., 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., December 16, 2015, at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City, Florida. Inurnment will immediately follow at Deltona Memorial Gardens.
