She is survived by her husband, Ben Gayle. They were married for thirty six years. She leaves behind two younger brothers, four children, three step- children, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
She was a longtime member of the Kress Memorial Seventh Day Adventist Church and a winter park resident. She was an excellent seamstress, homemaker, cook and well known for her banana cream pie.
Her children will hold a small private memorial at the ocean, where her cremated remains can be returned to the ocean she loved so.
