Guillermo was truly a caring and giving soul. So many of us who were far away from our families and close to Deltona found a home away from home at the Lassally’s, at their table, there was always enough space for those who felt lonely and were far from family and loved ones. At their home, we were all part of family. Always with love. I always felt welcome there.
My prayers now that Guillermo rests God’s arms are that peace and strength fills Bibi as well as Toto, Isabel, Gonzalo and all their descendants. Opa will always live in your hearts and and in the hearts of all of us who knew and loved him! Please receive my most heartfelt condolences

Guillermo, A Father to his family and a Dad to so many.
His unconditional love for his family and love for those around him Gide me today.
I am thankful for all the time I had over the years first as a young teen coming home for weekends then as an adult helping make my wedding one of my best days of my life. To my children Opa.
Most of all I am thankful for the life lessons he instilled in me and now I have passed on to my Sons. Class, honor, and respect.
He knew I could never love a cigar so he introduced me to chocolate in stead, but only from Germany.
We would sit at the counter in the kitchen and share it. All the while he would tell stories and experiences of his life and life at Riverside. Memories.
I relive them often when I am indulging still today.
I truly miss Him and will never forget.

Guillermo and I have been friends for over 55 years, since we were very young. He fell in love with Beatriz from the day he met her (head over heels). Guillermo was an exceptional person, very compassionate and caring, always helping strangers in need, he had the biggest heart. I last spoke to him on Monday, October 22. He was making an effort to speak, maybe he was connected to oxygen or tubes but we managed to talk, we cried together and he said his goodbyes. It is with a tight and broken heart I send my condolences to Beatriz, Toto, Isabel, Gonzalo, grandchildren, greatgrandchild and family. Guillermo, we love you dearly and will always keep you in our hearts. It comforts me you are now pain free resting in Paradise and with your loved ones in Heaven.

I've know Guillermo and the Lassally family for thirty years. Guillermo is a good man. Heaven gained a valuable ambassador. I am sure upon his arrival he had a key to the gate and handed St. Peter a cigar. Thanks for the how to be a man speech and the cigar. See you again some day.

We were friends since the day we met 30 years ago. Guillermo was a bright business man with great ingenuity
on how to be successful. My husband and I were very proud to be his friends. His hart was full of Love and generosity
for all those who were lucky to cross his path.
I will never forget his unique sense of humor and all the memories we shared as co-patriots from El Salvador.
He was my best friend and We will miss forever.

My father was always thinking of others. I believe this is one of the best traits I have received from him. Even to his last day, he was asking me to look out for others that are in need. I will always remember him as a giving and thoughtful person. He gave so much to everyone, even people he had just met.
See you on higher ground Dad.
