

Haywood Eutsey Jr. was born August 20, 1928 in Clayton, Alabama. He was the first child of the late Haywood Eutsey Sr. and Frances Young Eutsey. He professed Christ at an early age and joined Maryanna AME Methodist Church in Clayton, AL. His early education was in the Clayton School System. He married Susie Miles in 1948 and from that union they had three children. Miranda Eutsey Montgomery (deceased), John D. Eutsey, and Leslie Mia Eutsey. After a short stay in Haines City, FL., he migrated to Hightstown, N.J. in 1949 and joined the Mount Olive Baptist Church. In 1964 he moved his family to Trenton, N.J. and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. There he was became a Senior Usher, served on the Trustee Board,
and was a member of "The Men of Shiloh".
Haywood was employed by the custodial staff at Electronic Associate Inc. and Westminister Choir College. He was the first black Assistant Head Custodian with the Ewing Board of Education.
He retired then moved to Deltona, FL. There he joined New Hope Baptist Church and later moved his membership to Greater Union Baptist Church in Deland, FL. He again served on the Board of Trustees.
Haywood was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Susie M. Eutsey on June 13, 2015.
Cherishing his memories are his three children, Miranda Eutsey Montgomery (deceased), John D. Eutsey and Leslie Eutsey Burch. Four grandchildren, Sherman Nance, Hope Nance (deceased), Leroy Burch Jr. and Latasha Renee Burch. Two great-grandchildren, Brandon J. Nance (deceased), Chaquille A. Nance, and one great-great granddaughter. He leaves behind three siblings, James Eutsey, Mary Walker, Leroy Eutsey (deceased), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
