Irene G. Cook Kane

Mrs. Kane was born on January 23, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of David and Pauline Wednik Cook. She was united in marriage to Collins A. Kane, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Deltona.

She is survived by one son, Collins Robert (Karen) Kane of Columbus, OH; one daughter, Patricia (Scott) Coddington of Tallahassee, FL; one sister Lois Applegarth of Cuyahoga Falls OH four grandchildren, John (Angie) Kane, Leslee Kane, Katie (Jay) Allison and Charlie (Liz) Coddington and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Collins A. Kane and a brother, David Cook, Jr.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens at 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida with Rev. Sandra Parsons of the First United Methodist Church of Deltona officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Deltona Memorial Funeral Home in Orange City.
