Irene Evelyn Levine of DeBary, Fl. aged 81 died on July 9, 2014. She was born January 6, 1933 in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Abraham and Yetta Richman Gellis. She moved to Florida in 1977 and worked for 10 years for the Volusia County Schools as a bookkeeper. Irene enjoyed singing, laughing and was quite the jokester. She is predeceased by her husband Berne Levine in 2000. Irene is survived by her loving Daughter Randi Berkery and her beloved granddaughter Kayla Berkery, nephew Howard Schab and grandnephew Adam Schab.
Funeral services will be held graveside Sunday July 13, 2014 at 2:30 PM at DeLand Memorial Gardens, 600 Beresford Ave., DeLand, FL. 32720. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 2381 Mason Ave., Suite 100, Daytona Beach, FL. 32117.
