Ms. Irene O’Harra, age 92, of Deltona passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013. Ms. O’Harra is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty years, Samuel, her son, Michael Franklin O’Harra and three brothers, Ed, Gene and Keith Yoho. Irene moved to Deltona in 1996 from Akron, Ohio, where she was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. She volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America in Ohio,as well as the Ohio election polls. Irene also volunteered for Hospice in Volusia County.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and flowers, along with raising her son and had a great love of her nieces. She is survived by her loving family; her brother, Ransel (Nancy) Yoho, her grandson, Michael Franklin O’Harra II of Phoenix, Arizona, eight beautiful nieces and six wonderful nephews and her loving extended family; Wayne (Faye) Lamartina, her Deltona Church of Christ family and her caregiver, Frances Ransom.
