

Jack Donald Richardson was born in Buffalo, NY to Karl and Edna May (Wright) Richardson on January 23, 1933. He was 92 when he passed away on November 24, 2025. He attended schools in Lackawanna, NY and graduated from Lackawanna High School in 1950. He attended Buffalo State and graduated from Roberts Wesleyan University, Magna Cum Laude, in 1959 with a Bachelors in Vocal Music and a minor in History. He received a Masters of Divinity from Colgate-Rochester Divinity School in Early Church History.
He was married to Wilma Grace Richardson on December 27, 1957.
Jack had a career as a Pastor for the Methodist Church when he retired in 2011 after pastoring for 51 years. He was an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church and is a member of the Great Plains Conference in Mcpherson, KS.
He had a passion for music, running and Bible Study.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Wilma Richardson, sister Dorothy Richardson and four daughters, Martha (Mark) Hardy, Carol Gilson, Nancy (Kraig) Doub and Jill (Jimmie) Walker, along with 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are at 1:00pm on December 15, 2025 at Calvary Assembly of God at 3429 Chili Ave. in Rochester, NY.
Jack served in the United States Coast Guard from 1953-1957 at Coast Guard Station Cape May, NJ, achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class.
