James C. Marshall

He was born in Nashua, NH, the son of Roy F. and Kittie G. Marshall. He was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School, Class of 1948. He left school to join the U.S. Army in 1945 and served with the occupation forces, serving in Germany and Belgium, and was honorably discharged in 1947 as a Sergeant.

He returned to High School and completed his Junior and Senior courses in 1 year.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Thelma (Sharp) Marshall. He was pre-deceased by his son, Christopher S. Marshall, his sister, Gladys Marshall and his brothers. Theodore B. Marshall and George W. Marshall. He is survived by his daughter, Linda M. Decoteau and husband, Donald of Hudson, NH; his sons, James C. Marshall, Jr and wife, Linda Jo of Gilbert, AZ, David C. Marshall and wife, Moira of Stratford, NY and Stephen M. Marshall of Manchester, NH; by brothers, Lewis Marshall of Hudson, NH, William Marshall of Nashua, NH and John Marshall of Litchfield, NH; by his sisters, Carol Marshall and Eleanor Beals both of Nashua, NH; his sister-in-law, Ethel Whitney of DeBary, FL; by thirteen grandchildren: Kevin M. Crompton of Concord, NH, Kathleen D. Rafferty and husband, Benjamin of Mason, NH, Phaedra L. Orendorf and David of Hudson, NH, Nicholas T. Marshall of Gilbert, AZ, Scott C. Marshall and wife, Michelena of Leander, TX, Adam J. Marshall of Gilbert, AZ, Eric M. Marshall of Mesa, AZ, Alexander J. Marshall and Andrew D. Marshall of Nashville, TN, Kenneth and Adam Decoteau of Nashua, NH, and Adam and Jason McLeod of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; and six great-grandchildren: Neil, Auburn, Zachary, Mackenzie, Hannah and Lotus. James is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Life Celebration Service held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Community United Methodist Church in DeBary at 10 am.
