Jane Alice Pollard, 95, of Deltona died January 26, 2015 in her residence. She was born on September 26, 1919 in Scranton, Pennsylvania; the daughter of Adam and Sadie (Fuller) Skelding. She married James Pollard in 1936 and they shared 61 years of marriage prior to his death in 1997. She worked for Revlon Cosmetics as an account clerk. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Jane enjoyed jigsaw and word puzzles, traveling, but most of all spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Jane Everett, James Pollard and his wife Susie, Gail Sorce, grandchildren Jeffrey Sorce and wife Latisha, Daniel Everett and wife Christina, great grandchildren Marissa and Marleigh Sorce, and Cole and Grace Everett. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her infant daughter, Karen Ann.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 29 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM in Deltona Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will begin at 3:00PM in the Abbey of Love in Deltona Memorial Gardens with Rev. John McLaurin officiating.
