Heaven gained a beautiful soul today. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who quietly slipped away with the angels on the morning of June 26th, 2020.

Jane was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 22nd, 1933. She was the oldest of 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Eventually, the family moved from Philadelphia to a farm in Worcester Township.

Jane graduated from Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School where she excelled in academics. She went to work at the FBI in Philadelphia as a top secretary. She then married the love of her life, Albert Francis Widmann, in 1955.

While raising her family, Jane went to work as secretary to the President of Ursinus College. She continued on with BCM Engineers until her retirement.

While working and raising a family, Jane tried her hand at oil painting and quilting. She had wonderful talent for both. She proudly displayed her beautiful award winning hand quilted pieces in various local quilt shows.

Eventually, Jane and her husband, Al, moved to Florida where she continued her love of quilting and sewing. She joined a local quilt guild and moved on to a more intimate group of lovely ladies that turned into a sisterhood of sewing and fiber arts until her passing.

Jane is survived by her daughter, Veronica and husband Mark; her son, Dennis and wife Teri; and her daughter, Kathleen and husband David. Also, 3 grandchildren, Cody, Chad, and Colleen. Her brothers James, John, Joseph, Bernard, and Paul. Her sisters Patricia, and Eileen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

We loved our beautiful angel and she will be missed so much. Fly with the angels our loved one. Rest in peace, our love.

We know there are many who want to say their goodbyes and show their respect for Jane, unfortunately due to COVID-19, for the safety of all concerned, it breaks our hearts but we must restrict those coming to the funeral to only immediate family and close friends who are completely well to comply with the 50% (60 people) capacity mandated by the CDC. Masks are encouraged. We appreciate your support in this difficult decision. Please visit www.deltonamemorialfuneralhome.com and offer condolences and take a moment to write a tribute.

She liked to smile, always making such beautiful things with her talented hands. Her life will always be present as we cherish the gifts she leaves us with. Go rest high on that mountain as your work on earth is done. God bless.
