Jesus Fernandez age 91, passed away on Sunday June 3, 2012 at his home in Deltona. Jesus was a self employed Barber for over 50 years, WWII Army veteran, a member of Our Lady of Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona for over 19 years and loved to play Dominoes and enjoyed music.
Jesus is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Flor M. Fernandez, 2 sons; Javier Fernandez of Deltona, Edward Fernandez of Arizona, 2 daughters; Evelyn (Emilio) Vega of Deltona, Naomi Irizarry of Connecticut, 1 brother; Robert Fernandez and 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home 1295 Saxon Blvd Orange City FL on Wednesday June 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 7, 2012 at 11am, in the funeral home chapel. Full military honors will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens.
