Mr. Baublitz was born on June 10, 1938 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of John H. and Elizabeth Warner Baublitz. He was united in marriage to Dorothy A. Brewer for 57 years. He served as a mechanic in the U.S. Navy for twenty years until his retirement.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy; sons, Mark (Roberta) Baublitz and Donald (Samantha) Baublitz; daughters, Cher Kissam and Beverly (Larry) Kopp; twenty grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Steve.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 19th from 6 - 8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL, PH: 386-775-4260. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20th at 10 am at the funeral home with Major Bruce Williams officiating. Cremation will follow services.
