John was born August 16th 1946 to the parents of Margaret and John Bennett in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. He was one of four children. He passed on to heaven on May 14th 2012 at Central Florida Regional Hospital.
Left to remember him are his lovely wife of 28 years, Lori. Son Joseph Bennett, Daughter Casey Galliford and Son- in -law Jonathan Galliford, and Daughter Lauren Bennett. He has three grandchildren, Emmie, Annalee and Dominic. He is also survived by his brothers Rick and Lynn Bennett and Sister-in-laws Ann and Karen Bennett and mother in law Frances Jerome. Also left behind are his dear friends Don and Brenda Long.
John enjoyed walks around the yard, playing with his grandchildren, and spending time with his wife and children. He built several hot rods and enjoyed car shows with friends. He also liked traveling with his wife and children. Meeting him at the gates of Heaven will be his Brother Jim, Mother, Father, and his dog of 15 years Pup. As they are all dancing in Heaven we are comforted to know that God has received another Angel.
