He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Selenia Alvarez; his children Diana Elena Alvarez, Joseph Alvarez, Jr., Margarita Crespo and Yvonne Alvarado; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 10:45AM at Our Lady of The Lakes Catholic Church, 1310 Maximillian Street, Deltona, Florida 32725. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Deltona Memorial Gardens, 1295 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, Florida 32763.
