Joseph R Vega, born on November 30, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on January 18, 2026 in Winter Garden, Florida, at the age of 57. Joseph graduated from Susan Wagner High School. He had a career in maintenance for The Blake at Hamlin and John Knox Village of Central Florida. Joseph had a passion for NASCAR, classic cars, superhero collectibles, and fishing.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Iraida Vega; brothers, Daniel Vega and Kenneth Vega; and nephews, Elijah Vega, Marcus Vega, and Sebastian Vega.
A visitation will be held on February 1, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763. The funeral service will follow on February 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location. A committal service will take place on February 1, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens, also located at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
