Laurie C Brennan

side on Jan. 25, 2013. He was born in Auburndale, FI, on Jan. 2, 1927 to the late Laurie

and Mabel Brennan. He lived for several years in Salem and Canton, Oh where he

worked as an electrical engineer at Bliss and Alliance Electric, and retired from Gates

Corporation in Dothan, Alabama before moving to Florida in 1992. Laurie was a veteran

of the United States Navy and served his country during WWII. He was also a member of

the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. In addition to his

parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Laurie is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Shirley; daughters, Linda Buckler of

East Canton, Oh, and Diane Davidson of Deltona, FI; sons Michael (Patricia) Lesick of

Deltona, Fl and Larry Brennan of Ozark, AI; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;

brother Paul (Geraldine) Brennan of Salem, Oh; sister Marcia French of Mattoon, 11,

several nieces and nephews, and his canine companion, Cindy.

Arrangements were handled by Deltona Memorial Funeral Home of Orange City, FI. The

family wishes any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
