Auntie Lilly was a kind-hearted person who showed her love for us in so many ways.  As kids, she loved to hear Debbie and I sing.  She loved music!  She would bring friends over to our house and ask us to sing for them.  As a child, I wasn't always thrilled to do that :-(
I realize now, that she was our biggest fan!!  We were never world class singers, but to her we were special.  Now she's singing with the angels.  We will be burying her body tomorrow, but she's not here.  She is with Jesus!
I know she leaves a huge void in your lives.  She was a great Mom, Aunt, and Daughter.  I'm praying for you, as you remember special times with her.

I didn't get to visit Aunt Lilly since our family moved from Minnesota to Illinios. My mom Rosella Hunter(Uncle Wes)always thougt a lot of your mom and loved her. My fondest memories of your mom, was when your family lived at Chub lake. I know that she loved Jesus. Tracy, it was the correct teaching from your mom. We are to love Jesus more than anything or anybody. He should be placed 1st in our lives.

Then Gods team called red rover red rover send Lilly on over, and mom ran full speed into his arms where she will wait in the line until she can call all of us to come on over.

So sorry for your loss. I thought often & fondly of your Mom.  I will miss her.

Auntie Lilly was a truely special lady. She always had a smile on her face for us kids, and loved to play with us when we were little.  I will forever remember the Red Rover games, the ice skating rink she worked so hard on, her phone calls when my dad died, and her happy music. Rest in peace until we meet again!

As the days go by and I have had more and more time to think of all the things our mom has taught us ( Kelly, Gina, Myself and DeeDee) The one thing that keeps coming to my mind is how she always taught us that we should love our Heavenly Father more then anyone. (Our parents, spouses, and our Children.) Mom always told us she loved him more then us. So as I sit here and that keeps running through my mind. I truley believe that mom had made the choice to leave us and be with him in heaven. I am sure she is looking down at all of us kids and her grand children and is very proud of us all. This is not goodbye to our mom. It is until we meet again. We love you Mommy !!

My Mom once told me that every time someone passes away, a new star will shine brightly in the sky.  

Mom, I  only hope I can fill one of your spunky shoes.  You were so beautfiul, kind, inspirational, forgiving, loving, generous, thoughtful, unassuming, considerate, unselfish, caring, friendly, honorable and kindhearted.    As your daughter, I wish to be only a fraction of what you were.  I love and miss you a ridiculous amount.

The best memory I have is the snow angels and snow ball fights she used to start with us kids !  May you rest in peace ! We will all miss you very much !!!   Give grandma a big kiss for me !

Auntie Lilly was such a warm, loving person.  Relationships mattered more to her than about anything, except maybe the Lord.  She was a great example, as a mother, of deep love and nurturing.  She will leave a mark on everyone she knew, and she will be thought of with love and greatly missed.  My family's sympathies are with all of you!
