Lluvia Arias, age 64, born January 17, 1949, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013. Mom was born in Bronx, New York to Angel Remijo Serrano and Lluvia Serrano. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Evangelista Antonio (Tony) Arias, son Anthony Arias, daughters, Rebecca Chacon, Joan Arias-Saunders and Melissa Arias-Hernandez, adopted son, Daniel Silva, her only surviving sister, Annabelle Heredia, grandsons, Devin, Sebastian, Valentin and granddaughter, Vivien. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She lived, loved and adored her family and grandchildren. She was known for her humor and love. She was a beacon of light and strength to all who knew her. She will be loved and missed dearly, but as we all know, she was a fighter till the very end. To quote a saying by one of her physicians who became a good friend, "If our military fought as hard as she did, we'd never lose a war".
