Mary Sue Meyer

Mary S. Meyer, a beloved resident of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on May 25, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born in Jacksonville, GA on June 28, 1933. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many.

Mary was married to Thomas C. Meyer on May 19, 1956, and they shared many wonderful years together until his passing. She dedicated her career to helping others as a Nursing Assistant for many years, showing compassion and care to those in need.

A devout member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Mary found solace and community in her faith. She had a passion for cooking and dancing, bringing joy to those around her with her delicious meals and graceful movements on the dance floor.

Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Stephen Meyer and Mark Scott Meyer, along with her grandchildren, Lauren Nichole Secomski, Lindsey Lee Johnson, Christopher Scott Meyer, Oliver Stephen Meyer, Kimberly Michelle Hayes. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, Bradley, Madeline, Landon, August, Genevieve, Finnlee, Abigail, Ashton, Braxton, Jasper, Walker, and Graham.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Sonia Meyer. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and the memories she created during her remarkable life.

A funeral service for Mary will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Ann's Catholic Church, 26 Dogwood Trail, DeBary, FL 32713. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
