Melissa, you have to be the strongest woman I have ever met. Heaven has surely gained an Angel. Thank you for all the laughs as we sat and watched the boys play baseball together. We would laugh so much I would miss a play and have to ask AJ or Ray what happened so I could go back and update the scorebook. You always cracked me up telling me about your signature dish, Tator tot casserole that Kayley loved so much and I know how much you loved making it for her. Well my friend. I will miss you but I know you are no longer in any pain and you fought until the end. 😰 I am so grateful I had the honor of meeting such a great warrior and I will truly miss you. On behalf of Ray, RayRay and myself, our deepest condolences to your entire family and my you sleep in eternal peace my friend ♥️ Luv ya!

I met Lid several years ago through Kriston. I loved her right off the bat. She was so fun, sweet, and quirky. To watch her and Kriston together was almost always entertaining, between their singing, dancing and some pretty crazy stories from their teenage years. Each Christmas Lid, Melissa(Missy) and myself would do our annual Melissa pose. Usually with some crazy object we would find around Dave and Kriston's house. Me and Lid loved to karaoke. We sang everything from George Michael, Vanilla Ice, Prince and Grease. I was so happy her and Mike got together. I saw a light in her eyes that wasn't there before. She was so happy and I could tell they were soulmates. To see all the pictures of the times they shared together doing the things they loved made me happy. Lid was a great mother who loved her kids and worked so hard to provide for them. Lid was there for me emotionally through some very dark times in my life over the past couple years. She always checked on me, she always tried to put a positive spin on what I was going through. Even during her illness she was still concerned for me, which is a testimate to her character. She reminded me of my sister who lost her battle to cancer this year. They never met in person but now are pain free and kindred spirits in heaven. Lid I will never forget your love and friendship. My deepest condolences go out to Lid's kids, Mike and family.

Dear Billy, Mary, Jen, Michael, and all family and friends. You are in our thoughts and prayers everyday. We always remember Melissa as the kid that was the life of the party. I remember adventurous too. I remember a story the fire department had to come because she got her head stuck in a railing when she was little. Lol. As an adult we didn't see her much once everyone moved to Florida, but I saw her life through Facebook. I remember when we visited Florida in I believe 1998 she came out of the house to greet us and I couldn't believe how beautiful she was, breathtaking. Same beautiful smile and glow in her eyes. Her kids look just like her. Your cousins here in New York love you very much.
