Mitze "Lisa" D Lawrence
April 22, 1932 – July 5, 2019
Mitze Delisa Lawrence affectionately called Lisa was born April 22, 1932 in Old Harbor Bay, Jamaica to parents Franklin O’Connor and Caroline Johnson.
At age 4 years, Lisa was adopted by her cousin Iris who raised her. Lisa attended an Anglican school and would frequently get into fights to prevent other children from being harassed. She would beat up the group leaders. One of her chores was delivering laundry for her mother. On the way home Lisa would always buy and eat cherry vanilla ice cream with some of the monies she collected.
As a child Lisa would perform surgery on the birds when they got sick, then she would sew them back up. It seems that she had a calling to the health world and later became a nurse. Mitze Delisa Lawrence Sunrise: April 22, 1932 Sunset: July 5, 2019
