Monica is survived by her husband, Jose Vasquez, three children, Joseph, Kelly and Isabella Vasquez; five grandchildren, Neveah Leon, Jaelyn, Josiah, Alyah & unborn messiah.brothers Joseph and George Gilabert and niece, Grace Gilabert and many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Monica was married to her loving husband, Jose, for 31 years.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Deltona Memorial Funeral Home at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763 with Visitation from Noon to 1pm. Funeral Service from 1pm to 2pm. Committal Service from 2pm to 3pm at Deltona Memorial Gardens at 1295 Saxon Blvd, Orange City, FL 32763.
Monica was born on January 1, 1969 in Paterson, NJ to the late (Michael and Grace Gilabert). She also lived in New York City and Deltona, FL.
Monica was a graduate of Christine Valmy International School of Esthetics & Cosmetology in New York City.
Monica was a cosmetologist and esthetician in New York City.
Monica was a very talented makeup artist and really loved to make people look pretty, a trait she has passed down to her daughter’s Kelly and Isabella.
Monica was also known for her excellent cooking. She loved to feed her whole extended family and any of her kids’ friends that came over. Monica’s late mother, Grace was born in Colombia and her late father, Michael’s ancestors were from Spain. Monica had the great ability to cook authentic Colombian and Spanish dishes.
Monica was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She will be greatly missed!!!
